Practice technique and develop capacity in this technical lift as we work towards our monthly focus.
Heavy load relative to athlete’s capacity. 70%+ of athlete’s best.
Increasing load across as many sets as possible.
Perform one set every 3:00.
7 sets for load:
1 squat snatch
1:00 banded shoulder stretch/side
1:00 pigeon pose/side

We’re focusing on improving the snatch and will be testing “Amanda” this month, so this is an opportunity to test your current 1-rep max and dial in technique.
The loading for today’s workout should be heavy. Each lift should require your complete focus and attention.
We are going to perform a new lift every 3:00 allowing for around 2:30 of rest between each. If you feel like you are ready for your next lift after :30 of resting, then the weight isn’t heavy enough.
Prior to the workout, we are going to practice the snatch deadlift. This movement will allow us to get heavy prior to the workout, but also allow us to practice hitting valuable positions in the first pull of the snatch. Don’t sacrifice positions for load during this time.
