This should be a sprint, though the handstand walk might slow things down as athletes fatigue.

RX

5 rounds for time:
15 chest-to-bar pull-ups
25-ft handstand walk

LEVEL 2

5 rounds for time:
15 pull-ups
1:00 handstand walk attempts or shoulder taps on a box

LEVEL 1

5 rounds for time:
15 jumping chest-to-bar pull-ups
:30 piked/plank shoulder taps

SKILL WORK

Rest, stretch, recover

STRETCHING

2 sets:
1:00 foam roll upper back
:30 cat-cow
:30 standing pike stretch

Today’s gymnasty workout is designed to improve your skills under fatigue.

This high-skill gymnastics couplet uses the shoulders in a combination that will cause quick fatigue.

You should complete the handstand walks in under 1:00. If that’s not doable, spend 1:00 attempting the walk.

If you are on the verge of going RX’d, scale the movements so that you can keep moving while still working on building the skill.
